What’s your role at MOMNI?

Creative director

How long have you been a part of the team?

Since the very beginning – August 2015.

What’s the best part about working in the shop?

Working with the Momni gals and having the opportunity to help women find the right outfit, the right gift or the even the right accessory for their special moments is my favorite part of being in the Momni family. Working at the shop has become something I look forward to every Saturday. Every event, every brainstorming session over a vagabond coffee or a community loaves breakfast leaves me feeling excited and ready to take on the world.

What are the biggest changes or accomplishments you’ve noticed in the first year?

Joy has been exploring who the shop is – and I feel like the past year has been a path leading to this moment where the shop had established an identity. We know our customers and our community and they know us.

What do you think makes MOMNI different from other small businesses and boutiques?

Momni values all of our customers and considers their needs and their styles when determining the shop’s inventory. There is a reason our customers come back again and again – they know we will have something for them.

How have you seen yourself develop professionally or creatively since working for MOMNI?

Momni has been the creative outlet I was looking for ever since I moved to Jacksonville. I  thankful every day that she walked into my office and asked me to help develop this idea into the brilliant business it is today.

What would you like to personally build into the MOMNI legacy?

I want to continue seeing women proud of their bodies, their style and most importantly, themselves. Empowering women to feel beautiful, confident and perfect just as they are is the most important aspect of Momni’s identity in my humble opinion.
